The Fotoplace logo is about more than a rebranding effort. It’s an attempt to transform its purpose and cement a new reputation. To translate corporate values into fonts and colors, to re- place a logo many found hard to remember. I work on the typography and came up with a blocky font with stream- line edges for the simplify Chinese logotype, combining the elements of traditional Chinese calligraphy and sub- culture stencil letter. Design a symbol best articulate the brand, the symbol serve as nonverbal cues, a fresh image that is simple, playful and with a hint of curiosity.
